Meals for Mom
In recent years, Voluntary Action Center has hosted an event called Meals for Moms. This special event fundraiser is held in early May, and gives the community an opportunity to enjoy a lunch with their mom, or maybe dad, siblings, friends or even the boss! There is also a raffle and silent auction during the lunch to help raise additional revenues. The proceeds from this event are for Voluntary Action Center's Meals on Wheels program. Annual Membership Drive
Voluntary Action Center gives community members an opportunity to donate to our organization through an annual membership drive. The membership drive is held in the fall. The monetary donations from this drive support Voluntary Action Center's Meals on Wheels and Transportation programs.
